Welcome to the South Jersey RC Society, a proud affiliate (Chartered Club #686) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Our club represents a diverse collective of RC enthusiasts, whose expertise spans across various skill levels and a multitude of model aircraft types.
Our members take to the skies with a broad array of models; from compact electric foam models to larger-than-life scale models, our skies see it all. The spectrum of our aircraft models includes airplanes, helicopters, ducted and turbine jets, drones (including quadcopters), sailplanes, and a plethora of creative fun models such as flying surfboards, carts, witches, superheroes, birds, and more.
Our home base for aviation adventures is the Bucks (Woodruff) Airport, nestled just northeast of Bridgeton, NJ. Our community gathers once a month for club meetings, held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
Newcomers to the hobby are heartily welcomed. Feel free to visit our flying field or drop by at one of our monthly meetings. We’re committed to nurturing budding pilots, which is why we offer complimentary flight instruction to our club members.
For prospective members holding full RC credentials (AMA membership, FAA number, and a TRUST certificate), we extend an invitation to experience our field as a guest flyer. Just make sure you’re accompanied by a current club member during your visit. Join us at the South Jersey RC Society, where the sky isn’t a limit, but a playground!
